Brent Mitchell explains why it is that Mitchell Homes has been so successful in such a short period of time.

“The key is great communication with the client and really understanding right from the start what it is that they are visualising and expecting to see and feel when they walk into their finished home.

The beauty of being a design and build company is that clients can either chose to have a house built to a standard plan, they can amend existing plans to their own needs, or work with our designer to design and build a unique home from scratch.  In all three cases, the great advantage of working with a company that designs and builds is that the budget and quality control is there from day one because there's no gap between designer and builder.

Also, because we work with Auckland's most reliable and skilled building specialists and sub-contractors, it helps to keep projects on time, on budget, and finished to the highest expectations.

Our communication processes, internally and with the client, also mean that there isn't a big gap between the client's expectation and the end result.  We encourage clients to be as involved as they want to be right from the start. Each client has a personal consultant to help them through the whole process and the decisions they need to make along the way - from choosing the land, through the design process to the actual building. Clients are always welcome on the building site and our consultants are available to them twelve hours a day, six days a week.
