Every year thousands of Kiwis build new homes and carry out home renovation projects by knocking down walls, adding on rooms, extending outdoor living spaces and redecorating.

There are a number of reasons we renovate. It might be because we need to update the look and style of our homes, refresh the colour scheme, improve indoor-outdoor flow or update using the most innovative and technologically advanced products. With almost three quarters of the nation's dwellings aged more than 20 years old, it's not surprising so many Kiwis are feeling the need to modernise their home and look to increase resale value.
